I wanna have one day with you
Sometimes I just want one day with you, I want to push everyone away and just have a day where its all about you and me being together. We can sit home and cuddle and watch a movie that’s fine with me as long as i’m with you and noting is bothering us or keeping us away from each other. All i’m saying is we never have time to be together and so I just want one day with you

Lets go on a old fashion date. Not the movies, not the mall, not some fancy restaurant. Lets go spend the day together at a park or beach. We could have a picnic laid out on a blanket along with our favorite foods instead of going to a fancy restaurant. After we’re done we can just go on a walk hand in hand and talk about whatever that’s on our minds, the things we like and don’t like, or things we’ve always wondered about. No make-out sessions, nothing like that, lets just get to know each other better than we already do. We could then go sit on the swings or play on the playground, have fun and be silly as though we were little kids again. Maybe after all of that we could go buy some ice cream, sit down and watch the sun set together. Nothing fancy, just the two of us and some quality time.

Having a bestfriend of the opposite gender;
I always see posts on my dash like “I wish I had a guy/girl bestfriend”. “If only I had a guy/girl bestfriend” etc. Let me tell you something, having a bestfriend of the opposite gender isn’t always easy. I mean, you tell them everything about you, talk to them all the time, see them all the time, you’re always there for them and they’re always there for you. They listen to you when you’re mad or upset and they provide a shoulder to cry on. You know everything about one another.
One way or another, one of you is going to end up developing feelings for each other. Honestly, it’s kind of hard not to develop feelings when you two are so close. But as strong as those feelings are for him/her, they are your bestfriend. If you get into a relationship and breakup, you won’t have that strong of a bond anymore. You realize the only way you can stay close to that person is if you remain just friends. You will always love them, but unfortunately, the farthest that love will go is the friend kind of love, nothing more.
